This Privacy Policy describes how Twoby2 Studios LLC ("TextBoss," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the TextBoss SMS service ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Contact information: phone numbers, names, and addresses provided by you or by your business customers through SMS.
Message content: the text of SMS messages exchanged through the Service, used to provide AI-assisted responses, scheduling, and business operations.
Business information: business name, trade type, hours, services offered, pricing, and related operational details provided during onboarding.
Service metadata: timestamps, delivery status, opt-in/opt-out status, and aggregate usage statistics.

2. How we use information

We use collected information solely to:

Deliver, operate, and improve the TextBoss Service.
Generate AI responses and route messages between business operators and their customers.
Schedule appointments, reminders, quotes, and related business operations.
Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of information

No sharing of SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent data is not sold or transferred to any third party.

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

Service providers: infrastructure vendors we rely on to operate the Service (including Twilio for SMS delivery, Anthropic for AI processing, and Supabase for data storage). These vendors are contractually obligated to use information only to provide services to us.
Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this Policy.

4. Data retention

We retain messages and related data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected].

5. Your choices and opt-out

You can stop receiving SMS messages from the Service at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can request help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on business activity.

Opt-out requests are honored immediately and recorded. Once opted out, you will not receive further messages from that business through TextBoss unless you opt back in by replying START or UNSTOP.

6. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transit (TLS), access controls, and service-role scoped database access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
